He is an extremely safe and careful driver and handles the Sri Lankan roads tremendously well with great control and care. We felt completely at ease with him. Even Carmel, who is a very nervous passenger, totally trusted Mano and he did everything he could to assure her that she was safe in his car.
Mano was really flexible and each morning asked us what we would like to do and made it happen. If we changed our mind during the day we would tell him and he would be more than happy to adapt and suggest alternatives. He recommended sights we should see along the way and if we needed to stop for food then he would locate a good restaurant for a pit stop, one of which turned out to be Dan's favorite of the whole trip !
He bent over backwards to make our trip special and memorable, stopping to show us sights and buy us local foods to try and even buying us a wedding gift as we were on our honeymoon !
Mano is the most honest and lovely man and we couldnt have wished for a be a driver tour guide and companion. We would 100% recommend him to anyone traveling to Sri Lanka.
